1. Charge from time to time, even if the battery is not 0%

Lithium-ion batteries used in smartphones now can be used
for a long time without having to completely charge and then recharge.
Previously used nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries had a 'memory effect' that reduced the actual capacity of the battery when fully charged.
However, lithium-ion batteries do not have any memory effect,
so charging them free from time to time is not a problem.

2. Adapter type charging faster than USB (USB) method

When charging, the adapter will charge faster than using the USB charging method.
This is because the amount of current flowing through the adapter is about four times larger than that of USB.

 3. Fast charging is possible by turning off the power, charging in airplane mode or power saving mode

For mobile phones, the most power is used for communication and display. Therefore, if the communication is blocked by the airplane mode, the charging speed is increased. It is faster even when the power saving mode is turned off or the power to the display is cut off.

 4. The charging cable is thicker and charging is faster.

The thickness of the charging cable affects the charging speed. If the thickness of the cable is small, the resistance of the current becomes large and the current loss becomes relatively large. If the charging cable is thick, the current resistance is low and the charging speed can be increased a little.

5. Turn off unused smartphone features and delete unnecessary apps

It is recommended to turn on the functions such as GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc. when necessary and turn off when not in use. Removing unnecessary apps also helps save battery life.

6. Turn off automatic app updates

For apps or SNS accounts, it's a good idea to turn off auto-updates. Generally, check for automatic updates when downloading apps.
But without knowing it, auto-updates can be run to encourage smartphone data and battery drain.
